Envy Medical has landed a distribution deal for its professional skincare product, Lumixyl Brightening Crème, in Brazil. The company has signed a strategic agreement with Libbs Farmaceutica to manufacture market and sell the product in Brazil.

Libbs is a leader in the sales and supply of pharmaceutical products. The deal marks a significant milestone for Envy Medical – and a solid entry for its professional skincare products into the largest single skincare market outside of the United States.

Lumixyl Brightening Creme will arrive at the Brazilian market at a suggested retail price of R$140 for a 30ml bottle. Libbs has already made the product available in over 3,000 retail drugstores and specialty pharmacies throughout Brazil with future distribution expansion plans.

Curtis A. Cluff, CEO of Envy Medical, Inc., commented:

“The population of Brazil possesses a strong and growing demand for an effective alternative to hydroquinone, and particularly one without the side effects associated with prescription hydroquinone. I am particularly excited to work with Libbs, as they are a major force and a partner of unparalleled capability, ethics, and integrity.”

Why choose Lumixyl Brightening Creme as the company’s first product to enter the market?

“The Lumixyl Brightening Creme has tested extremely well with our initial focus groups and dermatologists, both in terms of its efficacy and unique aesthetic qualities,” said Alcebiades de Mendonca Athayde Junior, CEO of Libbs.

He added, “We are pleased to bring this safe and effective skincare technology for brighter and more even skin-tone to the women and men of Brazil.”
